GUEST BOOK

To My Brother Rayvon: I am so thankful that I went to your grave side service at Hillcrest Abbey on Tuesday June 2, 2009. Only God's unique way of being in my presence that day gave me some peace, comfort and knowledge of just how great He is. I have learned so many things about how you treated others and how they treated you in return several months before your death. You would have been so proud of the funeral services and the many things that were told about your personality and how every one that met you loved you and you never met a stranger. Many thoughts have been churning in my brain and only wish I could know what your last few thoughts were. I long to know what you did the last few days, hours and minutes of your life, who you spent them with, and what caused you to think that you were never good enough. What took place for you to think taking your life was the only way out for you? You are were deserving of God's love and grace. I cherish the 2 days that we spent together in December 2008 and also the week last July 2008 at Mama's house on the farm. I remember exactly everything we talked about and what the solution was to help you. I am a firm believer that every thing happens for a reason and God needed you more than I did. The live oak tree that shades your grave site is so perfect for you. The spanish moss was so beautiful and brought back so many good memories of our days at 'The Old Mill Pond'. Some one said that you would be checking to see if any limbs needed to be cut out of the tree to keep it healthy. I love you Rayvon and will see you in heaven some glad day. Crystal

Rayvon I am going to miss you terribly and I must admit I am somewhat jealous because you are in heaven with our Mama. You were the son, brother, friend, husband, father, father-in-law and Grandpa that always lifted others up, gave them encouragement and made them feel better about themselves. You always put others first. You served our country in the U.S.Air Force so that I can live in a free country. You were so good looking in your uniform and I was then and still am now so proud to be your sister. You always gave your best away and now the best has come back to you. You always played with me and made me laugh when no one else would take the time no matter how bad you felt or how busy you were. You would let me ride Rodie to the fields to plow. You put me on your shoulders and we would play chase with our siblings. You always had something going on and everyone had to be on their toes when they were around you. I love you Rayvon and will see you in heaven some sweet day. My memories of you are priceless. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deanna, Jeanne, Lee, and Tammy: Only the love of Jesus can fill our hearts with peace, joy, and love. Only He can console us during this hard time. In God's Love, Aunt Crystal
